The photo tagging application available on the Apple iPhone has an Indian connection. AirMe, a start-up, which founded the application has at least two Indians in the founding team.
The application enables the user to instantly tag and send the photographs taken from his mobile phone to his Flickr or Facebook accounts.
This helps users share pictures with friends real-time. AirMe received seed funding from the US-based Boat Capital Partners as a three-member team with Phil Easter as the founder. Apoorva Ruparel and Keshav Murthy are the two Indians. The company has now grown to 10 people.
