The answer, of course (if you'd not guessed it by now), is Geetanjali Kirloskar, former president of advertising agency Quadrant and wife of Toyota Kirloskar Motor Ltd vice chairman Vikram Kirloskar.

Kirloskar figures in the Sushmita Sen starrer "Samay," a serial murder mystery, as one of the suspects. The film is being edited.

Confesses the willowy, good looking businesswoman: "I am passionate about acting though my parents were not keen that I take it up as a profession. So I quietly studied and became a business woman instead."

Kirloskar ran Quadrant Communications between 1998 and 2002 (she set up Pratibha, the in house Kirloskar agency, in 1998 but later brought in the Interpublic group as a 50:50 partner and Pratibha became Quadrant Communications).

But she quit the agency, though she's still on Quadrant's board, and looks after other divisions of the Interpublic group in India.

"Acting's in my blood and I will continue taking up good character roles that allow me to explore my skills and sensitivities," she says.

She's acted before " in school plays, and in Girish Karnad's "Cheluvi," the Hindi feature film that launched Sonali Kulkarni. "It was set in Kerala, I had an excellent role. Besides, working with such a great director was a wonderful experience," says Kirloskar.

Next, of course, is a Tamil film, the shooting for which begins in December. Till then, she's penning a film script.
