Earlier having introduced their low cost tablets PC($99 upwards) few months back, , LACS Magnum on Monday announce rolling of their retail initiative ‘Easy EZ’, the retail chain for the low cost tablets. LACS part of Bengaluru based Devraj Group of companies, has launched 14 variants of tablet PCs ranging from $99- $799. Eyeing fortifying their share in the tablet PC market in India the company in addition to having EMI plans for purchasing of tablet PCs is also planning to introduce ‘tablet –on- rent’ concept.
Though the company had announced launching of their affordable tablet PCs few months back , it was being done though online booking, and now LACS magnum is eyeing booking of tablets through retail chains as well.
Sharat Satyanarayana, Head - Business Development and Strategic Partnerships, LACS Magnum, maintained starting the retail operations from Chandigarh , the company is eyeing setting up 10,000 experience zones across India by end of next year.
The easy EZs spread across the markets, would allow potential customers to experience, choose and book the purchase of their preferred Tablet PC model.
LACS will also offer mobile experience zones, called mobileEZs. These mobileEZs will travel to high-foot-fall locations such as shopping districts, shopping mall locations, colleges and schools, in order to allow for the customers to be able to experience the widest range of tablet PCs during their time of leisure. The purchase benefits of attractive EMI schemes and customer-centric warranties apply at the mobileEZs as well.
