The report of the survey was revealed in the November 15 issue of Dataquest. Last year in 2004, Motif stood eighth and this year it has climbed to fifth rank, informed Kaushal Mehta, founder and CEO of Motif Inc on Thursday. "Our goal is to become number one BPO of the country in couple of years," claimed Mehta.
On the basis of sample survey of 10 per cent of employees with a questionnaire consisting 68 objective questions including dream company, appraisal system, satisfaction and many more.
The survey also reveals that Motif was 11 dream company in India. "And among BPOs we are third dream company in the list," claimed Mehta. The other dream companies are IT based companies like IBM, Infosys, Microsoft, Wipro and others.
Amongst preferred employer, iSeva and IBM Daksh stood first followed by Ajuba, Genpact, HCL Tech BPO and fifth is Motif. "In 'Sensitivity to its women employees' and in 'Transparency of appraisal system in the company Motif was ranked second," said Mehta.
In 'Look forward to work everyday', 'Employees treated fairly regardless of age, caste or religion', 'Excitement about the work', 'satisfaction with number of training days', 'Salary structure', 'Transparency in the management' and in other few questions, Motif stood third, informed Mehta.
According to Mehta, Motif being 100 per cent e-mail management BPO is the only BPO of Gujarat which stood amongst top 10. "According to Nasscom, there are around 800 BPOs across the country and among them very few are e-mail management BPOs in which Motif is second after IBM Daksh," said Mehta.
Mehta also said that Motif is going to start Knowledge Process Outsourcing (KPO) based on predictions of financial ratios on December 15. "Very few BPOs in India work as KPOs," he said. Apart from KPO, Motif will introduce couple of new campaigns in next three months, he informed.
