MySpace, a leading social networking website, today announced the appointment of Hari V Krishnan as country manager for MySpace India.
In his new role, Krishnan will oversee strategy and operations for MySpace India business, a press release issued here stated.
Since MySpace India launched in April 2007, its business has grown 36 per cent, the release said.
At MySpace India, Krishnan will lead the development of content, product and marketing programmes, create innovative advertising solutions for brand partners and build out strategies for driving user engagement and strengthening brand awareness of MySpace India.
Krishnan will be based in Mumbai and report to MySpace's Vice President of Asian operations, Sung Lee, the release said.
Krishnan joins MySpace from Travelguru, a leading travel website.
