Leading job portal Naukri.com has undergone its first major revamp, with a refined search option and a new trendy look. The new-look website was launched a few days back, after which the registrations increased by 20-25 per cent, the company said.

"No immediate gains are expected in terms of revenues," said director and chief operating officer, Hitesh Oberoi. "We receive almost 1,000 to 1,500 CVs in a month and have a CV base of about 1.5 crore. With these added features, we expect the number to increase by 30-45 per cent in three months," he added.

During the revamp, Naukri.com incorporated architectural changes to the system as a whole. "This (revamp) has provided us a base for easier scalability in the future and further improvisation, which we're working towards and will be visible in the coming months."

The user will now be able to see all the information regarding his profile using the Naukri upfront feature, including resume details, incomplete sections, job messenger, covering letter and privacy options. The My Naukri page allows a user to toggle details and update information easily.

The company also has plans to expand to other verticals such as education, auto and yellow pages. Oberoi also hinted at plans to capitalise on the Naukri.com name to boost the group's website Brijj.com.

A link will be established between the portals in 2-3 months.
