Reliance Info award for 15 software developers

Reliance Infocomm gave cash prizes to 15 software developers under the Dhirubhai Ambani Developers Programme.
 
The contest, which was launched in October 2003, selected the best mobile application and best mobile application ideas.
 
ITIDA Cad Services won Rs 5 lakh for their application "My Palette" which allows users to create a cartoon or caricature on the Reliance IndiaMobile phones and forward it as a multimedia message.
 
Gametrix Entertainment bagged the first price of Rs 3 lakh for its 'Arena" application, a software platorm that enables multiplayer games on mobiles.
