Satyam, CA enter into agreement

Satyam Computer Services Limited and Computer Associates International Inc (CA) announced an agreement under which Satyam will provide a full range of assessment, consulting and implementation services to users of CA's CleverPath Aion business process management (BPM) solution.

CleverPath Aion supports the optimisation of business processes with a broad spectrum of associated capabilities including workflow, business rules automation, predictive analysis and customisable dashboards for business activity monitoring.

The agreement will help ensure that customers maximise the value from their investments in CleverPath Aion, while accelerating time-to-benefit and reducing their total cost of BPM technology ownership, Satyam stated in a press release on Tuesday.

Satyam will deliver post-sales implementation services and will work closely with CA Technology Services to develop and deliver a business process value assessment service. It will also develop a variety of business process templates for specific vertical markets using CleverPath Aion BPM.

With CleverPath Aion and the company's assessment and implementation services, CA customers will be able to support a wide range of enterprise initiatives including process optimisation and total quality management compliance/governance, legacy renewal and post M&A reorganisation.

According to G B Prabhat, consulting and enterprise solutions director of Satyam, CA's CleverPath Aion solutions provide an extraordinarily effective and adaptable platform for defining and enforcing business processes and rules across heterogeneous enterprise IT environments.
