Sierra Atlantic acquires $15-million US firm

Sierra Atlantic today acquired North Carolina-based consulting and Oracle solutions provider Baytree Associates in a 50:50 cash-and-earnout deal. Declining to divulge the deal size, Jesrani said the acquired company’s current revenue run rate was around $15 million (Rs 67 crore).

This is Sierra Atlantic’s fourth acquisition in the last four years, with the other three being US-based provider of enterprise application outsourcing and consulting services firm Sceptre Database Consultants Inc, UK-based independent consultancy firm Interion and Boston-based ArrAy, a software engineering services company with global delivery centres in Guangzhou and Shanghai in China.

“This acquisition will greatly add to our banking, finance and healthcare practices and expand our footprint in what we call the New Oracle Economy. We will leverage the offshore operations of Baytree and the integration with Sierra Atlantic will begin this week,” he said.
