SPG Media to launch Intl outsourcing forum

SPG Media plans to launch an international outsourcing forum in Amsterdam during March 2006 to bring Asian ITeS and BPO companies in touch with global companies looking to outsource work to low-cost locations.

It is also launching a 'Packaging and Conversion Europe (PACE)' forum at Rome in February 2006 for Indian and Asian suppliers to meet European Buyers.

Briefing the media, Chris Hayward, managing director (events division), SPG Media Group Plc, said that this third division was created in 2002 to conduct business forums and conferences to use as a platform to generate business and to help Indian outsourcing companies to shift focus from a declining US market to EU market.

He said that the success of the European Financial Services Outsourcing Forum held in June 2004 and the recent European Outsourcing Forum India (EOFI) held in Dubai in June 2005, whose scope was much broader created excitement and confidence for holding more forums.
