, managing director, Legrand India, moved from South Korea to India in 2006, he knew to be connected he wwould have to endear himself to the new-age tools of communication. Business needs aside, this wine connoisseur craves "a wonder machine" that can manufacture and deliver excellent wine at an affordable price.

How many gadgets do you carry?

I carry three simple gadgets "" Nokia 6600, an IBM laptop and the innovation of this decade, Apple iPod "" without which my life is sure to come to a standstill. These gadgets help me to communicate with my family, colleagues and friends within no time.

Your favourite gadget to date and why.

A mobile phone that lets me connect with the rest of the world, and that's Nokia 6600.

An application that is a lifesaver for executives.

A wireless card that empowers and enables working professionals to stay connected at any point with peers, family members, be it in the car, airports or hotels.

The next gadget on your must-buy list.

I have three on the list. The Nokia N72 for a globetrotter like me, the latest music system from Sony to help me wind down after a hectic day, and Apple's iPhone.

What kind of a dream machine would you like to build?

As a wine connoisseur, I would love to build a mechanism that could manufacture and deliver excellent quality wine, all at an affordable price.

The website that you frequent the most.

That would be www.lemonde.fr, a platform to know about social-economic developments in France. You don't have to be an Einstein to guess why I surf this website five times in a day. Another habit is www.chateauonline.com . It's offers the widest selection of wines from all over the world.

Your biggest tech disaster.

While I was with Legrand in Korea, there was a data crash (due to hard disk failure) and I lost all the data in my inbox and outbox.
