Tata Tele gets going in Rajasthan

Tata Teleservices has launched telecom services, branded Tata Indicom, in Ajmer and Alwar. To start with, the company is offering mobile services and a host of value-added services in 56 towns.
 
Tata Indicom has established a network of 20 true-value hubs and over 1,000 exclusive true-value "Shoppes" across India.
 
Rajasthan has 2-True Value Hubs and 51-True Value Shoppes. Having earmarked an annual investment of over Rs 300 crore for Rajathan, the company is ready to increase its presence in the state over the next few months.
 
The president (north) of Tata Teleservices, Naresh Malhan, said, "People can experience the freedom of the wireless world, products, and services in a congestion-free network. Tata Indicom is set to redefine the existing benchmarks of telecom services in Ajmer and Alwar."
 
"Tata Indicom will provide a quality network and a host of value-added services," said Malhan.
 
The firm has deployed a state-of-the-art code division multiple access network in the state.
 
CDMA offers a path of evolution to the next generation wireless system termed as 3G CDMA.
 
Tata Teleservices operates in 20 circles including New Delhi, Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh (E), Uttar Pradesh (W), and Madhya Pradesh.
 
The company has a customer base of over 4 million.
