Telecom service provider Tata Teleservices has introduced two new plans- zero rental for the life time and plan 249 – for its postpaid subscribers that carry attractive tariffs and low rentals.

Under the zero rental plan, a postpaid customer can avail himself of the zero rental facility for lifetime by paying a one-time activation fee of Rs 500. The subscribers, under this plan, can make STD calls at Rs 1.50 per minute and local calls to any other network within the circle at 75 paisa per minute.

Those who opt for the plan 249 can make STD calls at Re 1 only, while local calls will be Rs 25 paisa per minute. With an activation charge of Rs 300, customers can avail of the free 600 minutes talk time to local mobiles as well as 200 local SMSes free. They can also enjoy the roaming facility (both incoming and outgoing) at Re 1 per minute. The standard tariffs under this plan are 25 paise per minute for local Tata to Tata calls, 50 paisa per minute for non-Tata local calls and Re 1 per local and national SMS and Rs 5 per international SMS.

“In order to warm up the winter season, Tata Teleservices has come up with these two new plans, which are new additions to our wide range of tariff plans. Both the plans will benefit users across the country to make STD calls without having to worry about their monthly bills,” S Ramakrishna, circle operating officer of Tata Teleservices, stated in a press release.
