TIBCO Software Inc. and the International Institute of Information Technology (I2IT) today announced a partnership designed to meet the academic demands of students studying business and information technology (IT).

As part of the initiative, Tibco will provide I2IT its business integration softwares free of cost to ensure that the students are equipped with necessary skills and training to meet the demands of today's rapidly changing global IT market.

This collaborative academic program will help address the problem of industry-wide shortage of skilled IT graduates by integrating advanced software technology into college curriculum.

He further added, "Establishing strong partnerships with key academic institutions will help infuse software integration and real-time business into education to ensure that students' skills match the market demand to create innovative solutions for years to come."

Commenting on this initiative, Prof Krishna Moorthy, Director I2IT said "Being the first Institute in India to offer Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) as a full fledged course, an alliance with the world leader in EAI to support our curriculum was much awaited. At I2IT, we believe that technology has to be blended with market reality.
