The Tata Indicom Enterprise Business Unit (Tiebu) has announced that its incremental order bookings have crossed Rs 500 crore during the year.

The Videsh Sanchar Nigam Ltd (VSNL) is the greatest beneficiary of these bookings at Rs 345 crore during the year from the enterprise segment.

Tiebu is the sales and marketing arm of the Tata group's telecom companies. It was formed by VSNL, Tata Teleservices, Tata Teleservices (Maharashtra) and Tata Internet Services (TIS) in April 2003 and later extended to include Tata Net.

Sandeep Mathur, president, Tiebu, said in a press release, "Achieving a target of Rs 500 crore within a year of its formation is a significant achievement for us."

The bandwidth intensive information technology, information technology-enabled services and banking and financial services and insurance sector (BFSI) contributed to Tiebu's incremental revenues.

The key products that witnessed growth during the year include IPCLs and E1 PRIs in Data and DELs in voice, the release added.

VSNL's share to the incremental annualised orders stood at 69 per cent, followed by Tata Teleservices with 21 per cent, TIS with seven per cent and the balance with Tata Net.
