Wipro unveils Compuware CoE

Wipro Technologies, the global IT services division of Wipro Ltd and Compuware Corporation, on Thursday inaugurated a centre of excellence (CoE).

The CoE will provide training and proof-of-concepts (PoC) on Compuware's automated testing and service management solutions for Wipro's Interops Horizontal.

It is located in Wipro's Electronic City campus. It will provide Wipro customers and testing professionals with direct access to Compuware's comprehensive suite of automated testing solutions and best practices as well as comprehensive performance management and troubleshooting capabilities.

As part of the partnership, Wipro consultants will utilise Compuware QACenter and Vantage products. QACenter delivers an offering of automated testing products and solustions designed to validate applications running in the full spectrum of environments, isolate and correct problems, and ensure that systems can handle anticipated load, before applications go live.

Vantage is an application service management solution that helps IT organisations manage application performance from the end-user perspective: Compuware products focus on business-critical applications throughout their life cycle offering the most complete set of solutions in the industry today, including IT governance and management, application development, comprehensive application reliability and quality assurance, service management and support.

Customers can engage Interops horizontal for one or more of the above services. Interops horizontal offers Testing as Managed Services (TMS)TM for end-to-end testing ownership.
