Zoom Tech's networking academy in Hyd

Zoom Technologies (India) Pvt Ltd, a data networking and security solutions company, has set up a 10,000-sq ft network and security training centre in Hyderabad.

The company, which already has two training centres in the city, claims that its third centre is the largest networking academy in the country.

Addressing the media, M H Noble, managing director of Zoom Technologies (India), said, "Some of the courses that we offer include Cisco Certified Network Associate, Cisco Certified Network Professional, Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer besides Networking and Hardware for beginners. A three-month package covering all the courses comes at a cost of Rs 5,500."

According to Noble, the company has invested around Rs 50 lakh in setting up this academy.

Zoom Technologies, with operations in India and Europe, employs 150 people in Hyderabad. Some of its clients include Reuters, State Bank of India, National Police Academy and Lucent Technologies.

The company also has an ongoing contract to provide network training to the British Army.

In Andhra Pradesh, it is involved in the Computer Aided Registration of Documents (CARD) project as part of the e-governance initiative.
