On October 15, 2013, Dhunseri Petrochem & Tea Ltd informed BSE that there was an accidental fire incident in the HTM area of the company's Haldia plant on October 13, 2013 causing damage to certain equipment. “There is no disruption in the operation of the plant. Further, there has been no casualty and the company is having adequate insurance coverage in this respect,” said the company. Dhunseri Petrochem & Tea Ltd, which is headquartered in Kolkata, has a PET resin factory in Haldia.
