Delhi govt hikes PUC certificate charges
Details of the fee hike
Why are Delhi petrol dealers protesting?
“The PUC certificate certification fees were last revised in 2011. We have been demanding the Delhi government for the last eight years to raise it. We have written about ten letters in 2023 itself and we have asked them to raise the PUC checking charges. We have requested them to consider a 300 per cent hike in the minimum wages. There has been almost a 100 per cent hike in other operational costs and even the cost of PUC checking machines have gone up,” Singhania added.
