BJP has no objection to eggs in mid-day meals in Maharashtra, while it is politicising the issue in MP: Imarti Devi

Gwalior (Madhya Pradesh), Nov 08 (ANI): Madhya Pradesh government has decided to introduce eggs in mid-day meal menu in the state. While the BJP government has opposed the decision of state government. Speaking on it, State Minister of Women and Child Development, Imarti Devi said, "We had consulted doctors before we decided to introduce eggs in midday meal menu in the state. In Maharashtra, which has a BJP govt, eggs are being served in midday meal since 2016. Their (BJP) main branch (RSS) which is headquartered in Maharashtra has not raised an issue over serving of eggs in midday meal in Maharashtra. Why are they doing politics over it issue in Madhya Pradesh."
