A Delhi-based private laboratory, Dr. Dangs Lab, has claimed that it has been selected as the central lab for human clinical trials of Covaxin.
Covaxin is India's indigenous, Covid-19 vaccine candidate developed and manufactured by Bharat Biotech in collaboration with the Indian Council of Medical Research and the National Institute of Virology.
