Silencing Difficulties and Detractors - The Story of Parikshit Shah
Parikshit now has become a force to reckon with in the digital world

It won't be an exaggeration to say that technology has brought the world closer and made it smaller. It has opened new avenues to succeed, and one person who has understood the nuances of social media carefully is Parikshit Shah. He not only understands the importance social media holds in contemporary times but also uses its power to shape public opinion positively.
Parikshit now has become a force to reckon with in the digital world. His life, however, was not easy. He was born with a rare brittle bone condition, Osteogenesis Imperfecta. But he did not allow it to deter him from achieving his dreams. He was a bright student and did quite well in his 2009 SSC exams. Happy with his performance, the teacher gifted him a laptop, and this introduced him to the world of Orkut. Then it was no looking back for Parikshit.
It is said that "Optimism is the faith that leads to achievement and nothing can be done without hope and confidence". 27-year-old Parikshit Shah has proved the above saying right. Parikshit Shah resides in Pavel, Maharashtra, and despite his physical limitation, he has managed to achieve a lot of things that most people can only dream of. In 2011, Parikshit got media coverage for acing his exams, and this led to a flow of friend requests, thanks to which he was able to build a robust network of friends and followers. By then he had moved from Orkut to Facebook.
In 2012, Parikshit got his first assignment, an opportunity to review a book. Being a voracious reader, he took it. He earned ₹50 for reviewing his first book. Though it may not seem much of an amount, this small earning incentivized him to submit more than 20 book reviews within a year. Besides book review projects, he grabbed several book translation projects as well. In 2013 he discovered Twitter, and it felt as if a Pandora's box was opened in front of him. He was looking to expand his social and political view and Twitter gave him the right kind of opportunity. His Twitter profile (@imparixit) amassed a huge number of followers; many of which included several eminent politicians, news anchors, and journalists, businessmen, and entrepreneurs. Parikshit is quite politically opinionated and aware.
Because of these stints, and a strong network he built from scratch, Parikshit started getting social media projects. However, since he was finishing his MA Economics course, he could not devote a lot of time to it. Even though he did not leave the world of social media, it became his side gig, his priority was his studies. He also got the opportunity to manage the social media account of some famous political personalities as well as Bollywood celebs and other influential people. He also got several contracts for guest column writings and ghost-writing between 2014-17.
His big break came in the year 2018 when he started getting more and more social media assignments. He found a similar-minded partner from North-East, and they both formed Eerlik Media to handle the vast number of projects they were receiving. Since then, their business has been growing and there is no looking back.
Parikshit cannot move out of his bed without support. But he has completed his Ph.D. and built a digital marketing firm without anyone's backing. He has not let his physical deformity come in the way of success.
Parikshit wants to transform the world of digital marketing. He says, “I am willing to build a company that provides 360° digital marketing solutions to the client. We aim to cover content marketing, social media marketing, website/app building, SEM, influencers marketing, and online PR."
