UAE Fold for 57 Against Spin and Discipline
After being put in to bat, UAE started with a brief flicker of promise—a 26-run opening stand—but it was all downhill from there. The Indian bowlers, led by Kuldeep Yadav and Shivam Dube, ran riot as wickets tumbled in clusters.
Kuldeep’s guile proved too much for the inexperienced middle order, while Dube chipped in with a three-wicket haul of his own. The spin stranglehold was unrelenting, and the UAE batters had no answers. From 26-0, they collapsed to 57 all out in under 14 overs, crumbling under scoreboard pressure and the intensity of India's bowling.
India Chase 58 in a Blink
Chasing a paltry 58, India came out with a point to prove—and they did it with flair and aggression. Abhishek Sharma gave the innings an electrifying start with a 6 and a 4 off the first two deliveries. He continued his onslaught with another couple of maximums, racing to 30 off just 16 balls before falling to Junaid Siddique.
Shubman Gill (15* off 7) and Suryakumar Yadav (6* off 1) ensured there were no hiccups as the chase was polished off in just 4.3 overs, well inside the powerplay.
