COVID-19: Strict vigil on containment zones across country amid lockdown

New Delhi/ Bhopal (MP)/ Vijayawada (AP), Apr 13 (ANI): Chandni Mahal in the national capital has been declared a 'containment zone' by the government to prevent the spread of the disease. The movement of the people in the area is restricted to contain COVID-19 transmission. Sanitisation work was conducted in the red zone area in a bid to contain the spread of the virus. Harshwardhan Nagar in Bhopal was blocked after the area was declared a COVID-19 containment zone. At least 134 cases and 02 deaths due to COVID-19 reported in Bhopal capital. Rani Gari Thota in Andhra Pradesh's Vijayawada declared COVID-19 red zone. 401 confirmed cases including 07 deaths reported in the state.
