Realty firm Brigade Enterprises sold properties worth Rs 7,847 crore last fiscal, an annual increase of 31 per cent, on better demand for its residential properties.
In its latest investors presentation, Bengaluru-based Brigade Enterprises said that the company achieved "pre-sales of Rs 7,847 crore in FY25, a growth of 31 per cent over FY24".
Its sales bookings or pre-sales stood at Rs 6,013 crore in the 2023-24 financial year.
As per the presentation, out of the total pre-sales in 2024-25, Brigade Enterprises sold residential properties worth Rs 7,567 crore and commercial properties valuing Rs 280 crore.
Its pre-sales volume for 2024-25 stood at 7.05 million square feet.
The average realization stood at Rs 11,138 per square foot during 2024-25, an increase of 40 per cent over FY24, driven by the launch of premium projects.

Amid a debate over the absence of a deputy speaker in the Lok Sabha, data compiled by a think tank shows eight state assemblies not having anyone in the position, with Jharkhand not electing one for more than 20 years.
According to a report on the Annual Review of State Laws, 2024, released by PRS Legislative Research, state assemblies sat for an average of 20 days, amounting to an average of 100 hours in total, last year.
Article 178 of the Constitution requires state assemblies to choose two members as speaker and deputy speaker as soon as possible, according to the report.
Assemblies of eight states and Union territories did not have a deputy speaker as of April 2025, the think tank said in the report.
The list includes Jharkhand, which has not elected a deputy speaker for more than 20 years.
While the previous Uttar Pradesh Assembly elected a deputy speaker in its last session, the current assembly, which is three years into its term, has not yet elected one.

Tamil Nadu Excise Minister S Muthusamy on Saturday alleged the Enforcement Directorate harassed state government officials in the probe over its allegation of a scam in state-run TASMAC and violated procedures mandated by the Supreme Court.
The minister accused the central agency of  "political vendetta" and strongly condemned it and assured all legal measures against it. Also, Muthusamy said the government would firmly back the state officials at all times.
In a statement, Muthusamy, who holds the portfolios of Housing, Prohibition and Excise said ED's searches in the headquarters of government-run liquor chain TASMAC (Tamil Nadu State Marketing Corporation) had ulterior political motives.
It was an attempt to portray as if irregularities happened in the TASMAC during the DMK regime. However, the ED's action was based on cases registered during the AIADMK regime by the Directorate of Vigilance and Anti-corruption.

The Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) on Friday presented a Rs 40,187 crore-budget for the megapolis.

The Rajya Sabha on Thursday returned the Finance Bill 2025 to the Lok Sabha, along with 35 government amendments, including one that abolishes a 6 per cent digital tax on online advertisements, thus completing the 2025-26 budgetary exercise that started on February 1.
The House also returned the Appropriation Bill (3) with a voice vote.
Earlier in the day, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman had moved the two bills in the House.
The Lok Sabha had passed the Finance Bill on March 25 and passed the Appropriation Bill on March 21.
Replying to the debate later in the evening, she said the tendency of the finance ministry would be to exercise caution and not let go of revenues.
