Minor raped by friend, 9 others in lieu of dropping home during lockdown in Dumka

Dumka (Jharkhand), Mar 28 (ANI): A 16-year old girl from Jharkhand's Dumka was allegedly raped by 10 people including her friend to whom she reached out for help to drop her home amid lockdown, on March 24. "FIR has been registered and special investigation team constituted. Accused will be nabbed soon," said Dumka's Superintendent of Police, Y. S. Ramesh said. All of the accused allegedly deserted the girl inside the jungle in a critical condition. The incident happened amid the nationwide lockdown in view of pandemic coronavirus.
