Dehradun (Uttarakhand), Apr 13 (ANI): Amid growing cases of the novel coronavirus, Hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) is considered as effective in the treatment of the virus. But, the pharma companies of Uttarakhand have stopped production of the drug as its raw material has become five times more expensive than before. The sudden demand of Hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) has increased and the lockdown is making it difficult to supply raw materials, due to which it has become quite expensive. A total of 8048 active cases of coronavirus have been reported in India as of now.
