A Sharjah bound flight from Tiruchirappalli, shortly after departure on Friday evening, witnessed mid-air technical glitch and later landed safely, police said.

Messaging app Telegram has taken decisive action against bots that were reported for sharing sensitive data related to Star Health and Allied Insurance Company, and is actively keeping an eye on their re-emergence, a company statement said.
"The bots reported to Telegram for sharing Star Health data were immediately removed and moderators are monitoring to prevent them from being recreated. The sharing of private information on Telegram is expressly forbidden and such content is deleted whenever it is found," the statement said.
Last month, Star Health had sent a legal notice to Telegram, accusing it of hosting chatbots that shared the leaked data, the statement said, adding that Telegram has consistently maintained its stance on data privacy and cooperation with the investigation.

A food delivery man was killed after an Audi car driven by an allegedly drunk senior executive of a private firm hit his two-wheeler in Pune in the early hours of Friday, police said.  The luxury car's driver Ayush Tayal (34) fled from the spot after the accident near Tadigutta in the city's Mundhwa area and was arrested later with the help off CCTV footage, an official said.
"The incident took place at Koregaon Park, Mumdhwa road near Poonawala Fincorp around 1.30 am on Friday. Tayal's car first hit a couple of two wheelers, causing minor injuries to riders, just 100 metres away from the spot where food delivery person Rauf Akbar Shaikh's motorcycle was hit and he sustained injuries," said Manoj Patil, Additional Commissioner of Police (North Region).  Shaikh later succumbed to his injuries, the official added.  The accused fled the scene but was later held from his home after CCTV footage was checked to identify the car. The Jammu and Kashmir administration on Friday amended the Civil Services Rules to provide for the setting up of Services Selection Board for recruitment of non-gazetted staff, including Class IV employees.
"There shall be constituted a Service Selected Board for making selection for recruitment to subordinate services/non-gazetted/class IV (MTS) posts borne on establishment of any department or service of the government or any Public Sector Undertaking/Government company/Corporation/Board/Organisation and body substantially owned or controlled by the government of union territory of Jammu and Kashmir," the amendment issued by the administration reads.
