HBO's ad-free HD channels now on Tata Sky

HBO DEFINED and HBO HITS are available for Rs 99 per month (per channel)

Turner International India's high definition movie channels - HBO Hits and HBO Defined - will be available on DTH service platform Tata Sky from Tuesday.

With this, the two premium advertising-free movie channels are now available across DTH and digital cable platforms like DISH TV, AIRTEL Digital, Hathway, GTPL, Manthan Digital, ABS Star Digital, DDC, JPR Network, Den Satellite (Mumbai) and Seven Star Digital

HBO Defined and HBO Hits showcase Hollywood and Bollywood content through HD feeds on Tata Sky channel numbers 358 and 360 respectively. Tata Sky subscribers can also avail the channels in dual language for select movie titles. The two channels are available for Rs.99 a month (per channel).

While HBO Defined is a 24-hour advertising-free premium programming subscription service featuring the latest Hollywood flicks and award-winning HBO Originals, HBO Hits is a 24-hour advertising-free premium subscription service that indulges the viewers with genre-driven anchors and iconic HBO Original series and Bollywood blockbusters.

Over the next few months the channel has a line up of Hollywood blockbuster movies including G.I. Joe Retaliation, Gangster Squad, Arbitrage, Jack Reacher and Margin Call along with Bollywood hits like Rock On!,  Wake Up Sid and My Name is Khan. Apart from this, exclusive and award-winning HBO Original series such as True Detective S1, The Newsroom S3, Game of Thrones S4, Boardwalk Empire Season S5 will premiere close to U.S. Air dates.
