Sony Entertainment Television (SET) is to introduce 5 new programmes starting May 25, replacing its existing programmes that run during the prime time.
The entertainment major is also launching a new brand campaign, ‘badal rahe hai aap, badal rahe hai hum’ ('You are changing, so are we’) starting tomorrow.
“We are re-launching the brand, with a fresh promise and a fresh architecture that will depict the change in the society. The change in programming is based on a survey, which said that viewers were seeking novelty, variety and quality from the television programmes,” SET India AVP-Marketing Danish Khan said.
The new programmes will be combination of fiction and non-fiction and would aired starting with the prime time. Khan, however, did not divulge further details of the programmes nor the ones that would be replaced.
The new programmes will help the company in increasing the viewership of the channel, but on a continuous and gradual basis, he added.
