The SmartMenu, with user friendly touch pad and high resolution display showing the dishes and beverages both in images and videos, will offer an amazing dining experience to the devourer, in ordering their choice of delicious items with ease.
SmartMenu is not just supposed to enhance the ambience of the restaurant but also to assure quality service and customer satisfaction. The innovative product has provision for monitoring items ordered, cancellation if possible, repeating orders, etc that enables fast and error free service, saving money and time of the diners, said Anil N. Nair, managing director, Cinesoft.
It can also bear unlimited information, videos and image including nutritional information, allergy tag, wine pairing, etc and the operation of the system is ideal for all age groups. The menu supports multi-language and item prices are given in multiple currencies, as well as there will be menu details with recipe and a space where customer can leave their remark.
The add-on specialties of the SmartMenu are diners can interact with the chef if needed and customer can view the preparation in progress. Order prompts and pop-ups, Facebook and games integration, E-mail and e-newspaper options, internet browsing, real time reports, etc are also available to the customers.
SmartMenu basic package, comprised of 10 nos. of smart tabs, software, a server, as well as a 2 LCD displays and two smart client computers for both cashier and kitchen, with a printer and Wi-fi router will cost around Rs.5.6 lakh, he added.
The operation is very easy and systematic, as it will get activated when the bearer enters the details including table number, number of guests, etc after logging in with his username and password. The customer can choose the cuisine from the menu in the tab.
Once the process is completed, the tab will automatically send messages to the kitchen and the cash section and when the food is prepared, kitchen can send a message back to the cashier. Every time a process is completed, the order will be removed from the screen. The manager can monitor the bills on a daily basis through web server.
