The art of wine labels

Art on wine labels is not new. In 1945, Baron Philippe de Rothschild started a tradition of inviting an artist each year to do his wine labels. The result has been labels by the likes of Picasso, Warhol and Chagall. Now, Grover Vineyards, similarly inspired, have launched their own “art-labels”, with the works of five celebrated Indian artists on their labels. The wines are priced at Rs 420-650.
