GSF (Global Superangels Forum) Accelerator, a new entrepreneurship programme for tech ventures, has inducted 15 startups into its inaugural batch. The programme, which began on October 15, is a seven-week-long programme to foster innovation in the growing digital economy. The 15 start-ups will be given personalised and intensive mentoring, access to funding and business networks, and initial capital fro the business. The programme has been targetted at start-ups from three major cities -- Bangalore, Mumbai and Delhi, NCR.
Rajesh Sawhney, founder and curator of GSF Accelerator, said, “We saw immense interest from start-ups across the country. We reviewed over 400 start-ups. Although, the initial plan was to accept 12 start-ups into the programme, the final list includes 15 start-ups.”
According to GSF, Delhi, NCR region saw the largest number of start-ups in the final list of 15. Six start-ups from the Delhi, NCR region entered the last 15 followed by five from Bangalore and four from Mumbai. Over the seven weeks of intensive coaching, startups will go through 25 workshops focusing on different aspects of building business and products, raising finances, technology, and marketing. They will meet over 100 mentors one-on-one. GSF Accelerator has partnered 500 startups from Silicon Valley, Seedcamp from Europe, and Ruvento from Singapore, thus forming a global alliance that will provide access to global springboards for Indian startups.
Some of the startups in the programme include Little Eye Labs, Employee Social, eduflix, Tushky, bucketbolt.com, sharedcab, Pokkt among others
