Under the partnership, 3i Infotech will offer CRMnext’s product to its existing and new clients. The Mumbai-based company currently has around 100 clients in the banking space and another 150 in the insurance industry.
“We have been preparing ourselves to tap the overseas market for some time now, and our motivation for tying up with 3i Infotech is that with their existing business we would be able to penetrate the overseas market,” Sushil Tyagi, Director – Global Sales & Marketing, CRMnext told Business Standard.
Through this partnership, CRMnext will get access to Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa among other geographies, as 3i Infotech has strong client base in these regions.
3i Infotech will also benefit from this partnership as the company, which has specialised core solutions for the banking and insurance space, does not offer a CRM suit as of now.
“We have a whole set of IP (intellectual property) products right form a core banking system to a core insurance system, which is central to an organisation. But there is a wide gap in terms of the front end systems. We don’t have a CRM offering as of now, and this partnership with CRMnext will help bridge this gap,” Charanjit Atrra, executive director and global CFO of 3i Infotech said.
“So we are trying to increase our footprint not just to manage the core product and application but also to strengthen the front-end systems and applications,” Atrra added.
While CRMnext has similar partnerships with various other IT companies, this is the only alliance where the IT company will integrate the product with its own offerings and go to market, Tyagi said.
Noida-based CRMnext has been emerging as one of the fastest growing companies in the CRM product space in India. In September, the company had announced that it has secured a mandate to consolidate the CRM strategy for India's largest private sector bank, ICICI Bank, on its platform. CRMnext also has other large clients such as HDFC Bank, Tata AIA, Fullerton, Bajaj Finance, Reliance and Crisil among others.
