Cement manufacturing major ACC today reported a marginal dip in production and despatches in November.
The company produced 1.68 million tonnes in November this year compared to 1.70 million tonnes in the same period last year, a company release said here.
Similarly, the company also witnessed fall in cement despatches. It despatched 1.66 million tonnes in November 2009 compared to 1.73 million tonnes in the same month last year.
For January-November 2009 period, ACC registered an increase in production. During the period the company produced 19.50 million tonnes compared to 18.93 million tonnes in the same period last fiscal, the release said.
Despatches during the period grew from 18.96 million tonnes in January-November 2008 to 19.47 million tonnes in January-November 2009, the release added.
