Adani Power today posted a net profit of Rs 114.4 crore on a revenue of Rs 353 crore for the April-June quater of the fiscal.
"As there was no commercial operation of power generating units for the quarter ended June 2009, the figures for the first quarter of last fiscal are not given," the company said in filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange. The company's net profit for FY10 stood at Rs 170.8 crore and sales at Rs 434 crore, it said.
Commenting on performance in the June quarter, Adani Power Director Ameet Desai said that 1,153 million units were generated in Q1 and power capacity utilisation stood at 80 per cent in the period which would scaled up to 90 per cent in the remaining three quaters of this fiscal.
