The order, worth USD 15 million (about Rs 90 crore), involves supply of six power transformers, circuit breakers, instrument transformers etc. The Nairobi Metropolitan Ring project is scheduled for completion by 2014-end, Avantha Group said in a statement.
The power equipment will be installed in the new substations at Isinya, Suswa, Ngong, Athi River and Koma Rock, the statement said.
