Basab Pradhan joins Hexaware board

Former Infosys global sales Head, now CEO of cloud start-up to be a non-executive director

Basab Pradhan, the former Global Head of Sales at Infosys has joined the board of mid-size IT services company, Hexaware Technologies. He has been inducted as an additional director on the board of the company in the capacity of non-executive director, the Mumbai-based company said.

In June last year, Pradhan quit Infosys where he was heading the global sales in his second stint. After that, he had joined California-based cloud computing start-up CliQr Technologies as president and CEO.

An alumnus of IIT-Kanpur and IIM-Ahmedabad, Pradhan previously worked with Hindustan Unilever Ltd. apart from co-founding a technology start-up called Gridstone Research, which eventually shut down in April 2010 post the global economic crisis.
