Ranjan Kapur has been appointed the chairman of Bates India. This is in addition to his current role as country head, WPP, India. The appointment is expected to fill in the gap left by the recent high profile exits of Sonal Dabral, former chairman and regional executive creative director and Sandeep Pathak group CEO, albeit partly. As per Tim Isaac, Regional Head of bates Asia with Kapur as the chairman and a new CEO in place shortly, the company can look forward to accelerating its growth in India.
