ProFx, a division of BPL which deals in high-end audio and video products, has seen its business grow 100 per cent last fiscal.
Since its inception two years ago, ProFx, the only division of BPL which sells directly to customers, has sold nearly 150 home theatres and expects a 150 per cent growth for its range of high-end products during 2002-03. It is also planning to set up two more ProFx showrooms, one each in Delhi and Hyderabad. The products at ProFx showrooms range between Rs 50,000 and Rs 4 lakh.
Manmohan Ganesh, head for sales and marketing, ProFx, said, major international audio brands were in talks with ProFx for marketing alliances.
