Cadbury Goes Back To Uk, Bharat Puri To Take Over

Matthew Jonathan Cadbury, managing director of Cadbury India, is returning to the Cadbury Schweppes headquarters in the United Kingdom after a short stint in India. Bharat Puri, director, sales and marketing, will be the new managing director from January 1, 2002. Puri joined Cadbury in 1998.

The 42-year-old Matthew Cadbury, a fifth generation descendant of John Cadbury, the founder of the Cadbury group, and son of Adrian Cadbury of corporate governance fame, took over as managing director of Cadbury India on February 5, 2001.
