Cadburys Q2 Net Jumps 102%

Cadbury India has reported a 102 per cent surge in net profit at Rs 19 crore for the second quarter (Q2) ended June 16 compared with Rs 9.36 crore in the same period last year. Net sales increased 4.28 per cent to Rs 123.57 crore against Rs 118.49 crore for the quarter ended June 17.

Other income increased from Rs 2.19 crore to Rs 12.77 crore. Other income includes Rs 10.77 crore being profit on sale of excess property at Thane, Maharashtra.
