Multi-brand automobile sales and services chain Carnation Auto is keen on expanding its footprint in Uttar Pradesh.
The company, which already had presence in Noida and Sahibabad towns in the National Capital Region (NCR), opened its first outlet in the hinterland of UP at Lucknow.
Carnation has on radar other major towns in the state to expand its network, of which the Kanpur outlet would materialise in near future.
“UP is an important market and improving in terms of sale of cars. We want to fill up the gap in providing an alternative to customers for quality auto sales and services solution,” Carnation Auto CMD Jagdish Khattar told Business Standard .
He noted that all cities, which had substantial number of cars running on roads was a potential target for the company, while the after sales service market was witnessing exponential growth in the country.
Khattar informed that 70 per cent of car owners moved out of the authorised service centres after the expiry of warranty period, but neighbourhood outlets lacked expertise and trained personnel to handle these cars.
“At Carnation Auto, we provide end-to-end solutions to discerning car owners through state of art workshops located across India,” he said.
Currently, Carnation is present in 16 cities with 25 workshops with over 700 bays.
Since its inception in October 2008, Carnation has delivered over 2.5 lakh vehicles. It also has 9 pre-owned car sales outlets and 50 workshops on wheels.
Carnation has tie up with leading insurance companies for cashless settlement of claims.
