Hyderabad-based mobile handset maker Celkon is aiming to double its revenues this year to Rs 1,200 crore on the back of strong growth in smartphone sales.

The company, whose revenues stood at Rs 606 crore, last year, is also looking at strengthening its smartphone portfolio with the launch of three new devices as the festive season sets in.

"We have seen strong growth in sales due to our differenciated offering. This year, we are confident of clocking Rs 1,200 crore in sales driven by smartphones sales," Celkon Impex executive director Murali Retineni told PTI.
