Centum to train African Airtel employees

Centum Learning Limited, the learning and skill-building solution arm of the Bharti Associate company, plans to train 40,000 employees of Airtel, for its African operations.

The company has recently entered into a strategic collaboration with Airtel whereby it would train Airtel Africa’s employees and channel partners across 16 countries.

Sanjeev Duggal, CEO and executive director, Centum Learning maintained the training experience for Airtel employees in Africa would play a significant role in transforming customer experience and bringing enhanced efficiency for Airtel’s African operations across these 16 countries.

Under this collaboration, Airtel has integrated Learning and Development function, especially in the areas of sales, distribution and customer services across roles and business verticals within the company to enhance productivity and impact business outcomes as it continues to consolidate its footprint in Africa.
