Chennai-based listed dairy and dairy products maker Hatsun Agro Product Ltd has announced plans to set up dairy plants in Maharashtra and Odhisha.
The company has completed the acquisition of about 75 acres in Maharashtra's Solapur district for about Rs 60 million to set up a dairy manufacturing plant. The installation of the plant is expected to be commissioned before the end of December 2019.
It is also planning to set up a dairy plant in Odisha after an attractive proposition for investment by the state and has submitted its investment intention with the Odisha government's industry department.
Profit for the quarter ended September 30, 2018, stood at Rs 382.63 million as compared to Rs 382.10 million during the same quarter of the previous year. The total income was at Rs 11.87 billion as against Rs 10.69 billion during the corresponding quarter of last year.
