CIL bags international award

The world’s largest coal miner, Coal India Ltd (CIL) bagged the prestigious “Century International Quality ERA Award (CQE)” in the ‘gold category’ at a function held in Geneva this week. According to a statement by the company, CIL was conferred with the award as a recognition to its commitment to quality, leadership, technology and innovation. The awards were given by Business Initiative Directions (BID) – a private organization. R Mohan Das, Director (Personnel & Industrial Relations) of CIL, received the award on behalf of the company from Jose E Prieto, President, BID.
