IT solutions provider CMC Ltd today said its consolidated net profit declined by 0.76% to Rs 43.96 crore for the quarter ended March 31, over the same year-ago period.
The company had a net profit of Rs 44.30 crore in the same period previous fiscal, CMC Ltd said in a statement
Revenues of the company rose to Rs 294.10 crore during the January-March quarter, against Rs 234.24 crore in the same year ago period.
The board of directors proposed a dividend of Rs 20 per equity share on the face value of Rs 10 each.
The board has also proposed to issue bonus shares in the ratio of one equity share for each equity share.
Both the proposals are subject to shareholders' approval, the filing added.
For the fiscal year ended March 31, the company has posted a net profit of Rs 179.40 crore, up 25.26% from the previous fiscal.
The company during the fiscal added 1,845 employees taking its total headcount to 7,396 people at the end of the year.
Shares of CMC Ltd today closed at Rs 2,079.15 on the BSE, down 2.29% from the previous close.
