Colgate Palmolive (India) Ltd has announced results for the quarter ended June 30, 2010.
The Company has posted a net profit after tax of Rs 121.9 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2010 where as the same was at Rs 102.7 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2009.
Total Income is Rs 555.1 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2010 where as the same was at Rs 493.9 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2009.
Pursuant to the Scheme of Amalgamation, sanctioned by an order dated April 16, 2010 of the Bombay High Court at Goa, Professional Oral Care Products Private Limited ('POC') has been amalgamated with the Company.
Consequently, reported figures for quarter ended June 30, 2009 do not reflect the impact of the merger of POC and hence are not comparable with the figures reported for quarter ended June 30, 2010.
