A high-level delegation headed by DEC International president and India chairman, Han Zhiqiao, called on chief minister, K Chandrashekar Rao, on Tuesday. DEC was stated have expressed its keen interest to participate in the Telangana government’s efforts to add power generation capacity in the shortest time possible and in an effective way.
The delegation, according to a release, assured Rao that the government of Sichuan Province will actively support DEC’s business with Telangana for power projects. It also stated that project finance will be arranged on mutually agreed terms and conditions.
DEC is one of the world’s largest power equipment manufacturers and is based at Chengdu in Sichuan, China.
